Charles Dana Combs – (Suspect – Arrested)

Detectives assigned to the Robbery-Homicide Unit have identified and arrested the suspect who committed the bank robbery at 13700 Park Boulevard North.
Investigators say, on August 6, 2020 at approximately 10:47 a.m., St. Petersburg Police Department responded to Mid Florida Credit Union at 2646 4th Street North in St. Petersburg in reference to a bank robbery. St. Petersburg Officers later arrested the suspect and identified him as 51-year-old Charles Combs.
Pinellas County Robbery/Homicide detectives interviewed Combs at the St. Petersburg Police Department and he admitted to the robbery on August 3rd.
Detectives charged him with one count of Armed Robbery in addition to charges from the St. Petersburg Police Department.
The investigation continues.
